When I...

Take a look at the two guys sitting near by on the bench. The one with a brown jacket is an old man sleeping. The other is ??????? who is reading a flier. You know him? Ok man. That's me, the writer, who was poring an ads. Someone gave me when I was going around the mall, if not mistaken, summit mall (a huge shopping center). I sat there because of two reasons: 1) I had to pray Dhuhur and Asyar. 2) I felt tired after window shopping for 30 minutes. You know, It was hard to find a place for prayer. That's the way I pray if I go to public places. Also, I am sure you wonder who took this picture. Exactly, Halis, my friend from Sulawesi, from a hidden place, took my picture. I did not know he did. I became aware when he showed me the photo afterwards. But, it's ok. I love it. So, what do you think?

Sorry for being in void, but...

Hi, guys. Welcome back to my blog. Sorry for being in void for sometime. I have been so busy that my blog goes statically. For almost one month, there has not been added photo and story. Once again, sorry for this inconvinience. I will try to complement it more regularly.
But, now I come back to share my story with you. This picture was also documented at Subway tunnel in Washington D.C. near by the inn where I joined the opening seminar. Frankly, it was my maiden tour to underground train in my life. I do not have this in my country. I should go down with elevator to reach the ticket machine. Someone gave me his hand to buy the ticket by inserting some coins. Then I got a ticket. To enter the stopping train, I was to insert the ticket into a machine to open the gate. I had to wait for sometime. You know, there were two lanes in which the trains were commuting with very fast speed. A lot of people used this public transportation facility to shuttle. It took a few minutes to be in the destination. Do not worry. No traffic jam. You are secure to go wherever you want. Yet, you have to know where to go before you decide to go. Otherwise, you will get lost 100%. Ok.

Albert Einstein with Me Now

Hi. What's up? Hope you are ok. Now I have another photo and story as well to share with you. This was taken when I was in the right side of Albert Einstein's foundation building in Washington DC. So, you cannot see the building. Everybody (educated) knows this brilliant person (not me). He is an expert in Physics. This person gives a lot of advantages to many people in the world. Although he passed away already, his ideas, thoughts, and findings enlighten the earth, are documented, and are used by people. I am one of his fans in terms of his spirit and willingness to learn and give good things to others, in spite of the fact I don't like physics. Having a picture with him is my own pride. I just hope that GOD will brighten my brain and mind to have alike. Who knows!!

Two Important People with Me

Can you answer my question? Here it is. 'Do you know two men with blue coats in my left side? If you have no idea, let me help you find the answer. These two folks are Indonsian ambassadors. Their names are Mr. Harry and Mr. Saihu. They were invited to join a very formal meeting in Hyaat hotel in Washington DC. All ILEP fellows including from Indonesia had an opportunity to present their poster on their own cultures to the audiences. It was a great moment for all of us, especially me, to be able to talk to VIP people. I also possesed a moment of taking pictures together. Look, the guy with a brown old fashioned coat. He is me. He lookes handsome. How important he is! It will be an unforgetable nuace for my life and my family as well.

My Capitol Building?

It was at night on which my picture was captured. My friend did it. Compared with other photos, this one is rather blurred. My 'handsome' face is obscured. Yet, I still feel confortable with it. You know why? I feel proud of being here, in the powerful nation among other nations in this universe. Do not blink your eyes! Behind me is the real picture of Capitol Building standing steadily and in unbreakable. This is where the representatives of all states represent the voices of all Americans. It is like MPR/DPR that we have in Indonesia.
To inform you, the first Friday after my arrival, I had my Friday prayer inside this building. Ya, there is a room for those who will pray. But, to enter, I had to be inspected very carefully, even I had to take off my belt. All what they did was for security, not more than that. Do not worry too much. As long as, you do not look weird and no dangerous things with you, everthing will be OK.

The White House

The weather was rainy and windy when I had a tour to the white house, where president George W. Bush does his daily duties and presides his nation. I was very lucky I could capture this incredible memory of posing in front of the white. You know, this building was very securely guarded by the policemen in every corner of the spots. So, the visitors were allowed to see this shadow of a nation only from the pedestrian sidewalks. But, it was a big deal for me to do it. Imagine that not all people have this valuable and everlasting experience. Me, the one who attains it, is here in the United States of America.

Oh, My Leg...

Ok, guys. Look at me now. You know why?Guess what was happening to me? The white was ice. If you cannot, let me tell you. I fell down when I was ice skating in Akron (2 Februari 08). It was the first time I ice skated. I had never imagined before that ice skating was very tough and 'dangerous', especially for the beginners like ME. But, It was challenging to try. I should use the ice skate shoes. First, I had to walk slowly and gently while holding the fence. One around, I moved far from the fence (middle). Again, I speed up my movement. I was sure that I could do it smoothly. Unfortunately, the next around, I fell down in the middle. My lelf leg (knee) bent. I could not stand. Luckily, Jennifer and one staff helped me. I tried to stand up and moved to a way out. I decided to stop as I felt hurt. But, I enjoyed it.
